The NCCE Library has existed since the inception of the National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI) in 1929. Initially known as the All India Cooperative Institutes Association, its name was changed in 1961. Over the years, the NCUI has experienced substantial growth and currently encompasses 280 member institutions across India. Libraries most frequently give a position of quietness for consideration.

The National Centre for Cooperative Education (NCCE) serves as the vehicle through which the NCUI accomplishes this objective.
